I posted about the Girl Scout Junior Simple Meals Badge last summer when I became a Junior leader. I have finally gotten to the point when we will actually be doing the badge and we are quite excited. As part of this badge I wanted to include healthy eating habits for my girls as well so I used the MyPlate information provided at ChooseMyPlate.gov I found some food clipart and a simple template for the Plate as well and printed enough for the entire troop. Our Brownies are also working on a food badge.
I wanted to post files that are easy to print so that other troop leaders can use them with their girls. The other post with the recipes on it you can right click on each image to copy and paste it, or save it so you don't have to use the Scribl software. Here are the image files for the plate and the foods for the exercise:
